Management Team

A lot of manufacturers say they’re committed to customer service. Permac lives its commitment. The Permac culture is open and values honest communication with employees and customers. It encourages employees to become trusted partners with customers and to “own” the projects they work on. There are no hierarchies or divisions; everyone possesses the knowledge and background to assist customers each step of the way and to exceed expectations. That’s why Permac enjoys a near perfect customer satisfaction rating.

“Five years ago, I was working for a company that produced an aviation product. With very little warning, a supplier of a machined component gave notice that they would no longer be able to supply the item. An initial inquiry to several shops quickly confirmed our fears – it was a difficult piece that many shops could not, or would not, produce at the targeted price. Fate intervened and I got in touch with a Burnsville machine shop that showed interest, despite the fact that it was late on a Friday. After an hour of discussion, pricing and delivery terms were established. A handshake finalized the deal and three weeks later, we had the first shipment of the part in house. Of course that machine shop was Permac Industries and, to paraphrase the old electric shaver commercial, ‘I liked the company so much that I came to work here.’ The rest is history, and now I can say that I’m very excited to be a part of this forward- thinking, customer-oriented organization.”
