Director of Continuous Improvement

Murray started at Permac in his current position just under two years ago, However, his career has always been focused on quality improvement. He previously served at Alliant Tek and has spearheaded ISO 9000 initiatives as well as adherence to quality systems requirements of regulatory bodies such as the Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Defense. Murray feels that quality assurance must define a company’s culture and the systems that enable it to consistently produce products that meet customer expectations.

At Permac, Murray has led the way to full utilization of quality enhancement software, assisted in transitioning the company to electronic document control, launched SPC data collection and supported ISO 9000 certification actions.

Murray holds an A.A. degree in Electronics Technology, Brown College, and has completed courses in business management, design of experiments and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). Murray is married with two children and three grandchildren and enjoys spending time with family – and motorcycles.
