Since President and CEO Darlene M. Miller assumed ownership in 1994, Permac has qualified and operated as a 100 percent woman-owned business. In August 2009, the company was re-certified as such by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council. The certification provides assurance to prospective customers that the organization is, in fact, owned and operated by a woman. In turn, it validates eligibility for a variety of set-aside programs that Permac is qualified to participate in. See the certificate here.
